Moringa Pills

Moringa pills, often referred to as Moringa capsules, are a great option for adding Moringa to your diet. The pills are simply vegetable capsules or gelatin capsules that have been filled with pure Moringa leaf powder. Thankfully all the amazing benefits of Moringa powder also apply to Moringa pills. While the pills are extermely convenient, buying leaf powder is more economical. So why would someone choose to use the pills instead of just eating the powder?

Three Reasons for Using Moringa Pills

1.    Taste: Most people easily incorporate the powder into their smoothies or meals but not everyone can. For those that have tried to incorporate Moringa powder into their diet and just can’t, the pills are a great option!

2.   Convenience: For those days when you don’t have time to make your favorite Moringa smoothie or dish, grab a few pills; and you are good to go! You never have to go a day without Moringa again.

3.   Travelling: When traveling, it’s easier to grab a bottle of pills for the road than to bring along your bag of powder. When you are away from your kitchen, the pills make eating Moringa consistently a breeze.

If you are interested in buying Moringa pills, there are several things to watch.

What to Look for in Moringa Pills

When comparing all the different Moringa pills for sale, here are 4 tips to help you out.  Make sure the pills are:

  1. Pure Moringa leaf powder with no additives
  2. Labelled as a raw food, meaning the leaves were dried at a low temperature
  3. A deep and vibrant green color as shown above
  4. Strongly aromatic (fresh and grassy) when opened

Vegan Moringa pills, made with vegetable capsules are also available. These are carried in our online store.

How Many Moringa Pills to Take Each Day

Moringa is a food. As such there is no recommended daily intake. Generally speaking though, most people end up taking 2-4 tsp of powder a day. Since most capsules are between 400-1000 mg, it takes roughly 2-5 capsules to get the equivalent of 1 tsp. Depending on how much Moringa you want to consume each day, it can end up being a lot of pills over the course of a month.

To start using Moringa, we recommend taking two 400 mg capsules (this is the size of the capsule we carry) each morning and each evening. After a week or two, double your intake to 4 capsules each morning and each evening. Again, there are no rules with eating Moringa. It’s a healthy, whole food; and we love it!
