Moringa Pistachio Lemon Cheese Balls add just the right about of fruit and nuts to make a delicious spreadable cheeseball.
The creamy smooth taste of goat cheese paired with a mixture of dried berries and the zing of lemon, then rolled in coarsely chopped pistachios and powdered Moringa leaves, make for a gourmet sensation for your mouth.
The green Moringa powder blends beautifully and naturally with the chopped pistachios; this blend is subtle but blasting with the enhancement of nutritious deliciousness offered by Moringa powder.
Serve with a mixed green salad or a delightful array of crackers.
However, when you decide to serve Moringa pistachio lemon cheese balls, we suggest doubling the recipe as we feel confident you and your guests will be wanting more.
1cuppistachiosshelled and coarsely chopped (possibly less)
8ouncescream cheese full fat
4 ouncesgoat cheese
3/4cupdried mixed berriescoursely chopped
1/2 tsppink Himalayan salt
black pepperto taste
1tsp fresh lemon juice
4 tsplemon zest
2TbspMoringa powderper preference 1-2 Tbsp
Roughly chop pistachios. Place in a bowl. Stir in Moringa powder and set aside. (If available, use a food processor or high powered blender to lightly pulse to desired consistency. FYI: The finer the final product, the fewer pistachios required for coating.)
Cream goat cheese and cream cheese together in a medium bowl.
Chop berries or pulse in a food processor/blender.
Stir mixed berries, salt, pepper, lemon juice, and lemon zest into the cheese mixture.
Refrigerate for one hour prior to forming into balls. (Smaller balls work well as an appetizer with crackers; larger balls work well in addition to a salad.)
