Moringa Chocolate Hearts with Orange Zest

Moringa Chocolate Hearts: Orange

Moringa Chocolate Hearts with Orange Zest

Do you like chocolates with a hint of fruity flavoring? The funny thing is I would have answered “No” if you had asked me this question a few weeks ago. Now, after trying these Moringa chocolates, my answer is “Absolutely!” You have to try a Moringa chocolate! Every batch is packed with 3 Tbsp of raw Moringa powder and flavored with fresh orange zest. Each of these Moringa chocolates provide just over 1/2 tsp of Moringa powder combined with a smooth chocolaty texture. This may  be the best way to eat Moringa powder ever!

This recipe combines real butter or cold-pressed coconut oil with the deliciousness of dark chocolate and the benefits of Moringa!  The entire flavor lightens with the fresh orange zest.

If orange is not your preference, you have options. Substitute chopped berries or coconut; or set aside the fruit all together, and pick your favorite mix-in or topping.  The base chocolate can stand alone, but we would highly recommend adding the Moringa as this transforms the chocolate truffle dessert from pure decadence to deliciously nutritious!

Take heart–a Moringa chocolate heart–and experience the chocolaty goodness that is healthier than most foods in your house!
