Moringa Chocolate Hearts with Orange Zest

Ingredients
  • 1/4cup butter/coconut oil
  • 1/4cup heavy whipping cream
  • 8ounces 72% or > cacao dark Chocolate
  • 2 oranges Zestsubstitute your favorite mix-in or omit this step entirely
  • 3Tbsp raw Moringa powder
  • cacao powderfor dusting
  • additional toppingsunsweetened coconut, toasted nuts, whatever your “Heart” desires
Instructions
  1. Place small pan over low heat. Combine butter/coconut oil and whipping cream.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate until melted and combined.
  3. Add in desired about of zest.
  4. Stir in Moringa powder.
  5. Dust candy molds with cacao powder and fill with chocolaty goodness. Alternatively place bowl of chocolate directly in the refrigerator for several minutes until it firms enough to form into 1 inch balls. Dust with cacao powder or roll in desired topping.
  6. These candies will soften at room temperature if left out for an extended period. We recommend storing in an airtight container in the refrigerator when not indulging.
