The Ultimate Moringa Smoothie Recipe!
Just before we get into the Smoothie Recipe I have a confession to make. While I love the smoothie I actually get most of my Moringa in an even more convienent way. I take organic Moringa Capsules everyday. There is simply no other way that is so convienent to get Moringa in your diet every single day!
May we introduce…..The Ultimate Moringa Smoothie Recipe! Prepare to be Amazed! As you likely know by now, we love Moringa! But let’s be honest, it’s the benefits of Moringa that we love, not the taste of the Moringa leaf powder! In fact, many of our recipes are designed to mask the taste of Moringa. One of the most frequent questions we hear, is “How do we use Moringa Powder?”. To those already experimenting with incorporating Moringa into smoothies, you already know that even a 1 teaspoon of Moringa powder in your smoothie can be noticeable and not necessarily in a delicious tasting sort of way. This can make trying to consume 4 teaspoons (8 grams) of Moringa powder daily quite a chore. The reality is many people are content with daily intake of just 1 teaspoon because it’s unenjoyable to add more. If you are wanting to incorperate more Moringa into your diet we wanted to equip you to do just that.

Easy, Affordable, Enjoyable
Recently, we set out to create a simple recipe to incorporate 8 grams of Moringa powder that was Easy, Affordable, and not only palatable but Enjoyable. For testing, we put it through the most rigorous test: our four girls: 6, 4 and 3 years old (We may have also spontaneously tested it out on our very interested 4 month old as well!) Success was indicated when all the girls unanimously gave it 2 thumbs up and then asked for more immediately and when they woke up the following morning.
Yes, we are adding more Moringa powder than ever to our smoothies, and our kids are loving it! This is confirmation that we have landed on the Ultimate Moringa Smoothie Recipe!
Each 7 oz cup of smoothie has 2 teaspoons (4 grams) of Moringa powder added! That means you only have to drink 14 oz of smoothie to get your complete 4 teaspoons (8 grams) of Moringa powder a day. Of course, you could always divide this into 2 smaller smoothies or pair a small smoothie with another enjoyable recipe or Moringa capsules to fit your own preferences. The Ultimate Moringa Smoothie is by far the simplest and quickest way to acquire a daily dose of 8 grams of Moringa powder in one sitting.
A delightful Banana Coconut base offers all the creamy sweetness you need. The Ultimate Moringa Smoothie includes no additional sweeteners. The palatable power of this recipe is in the spices — which together with the banana and coconut milk allow for large amounts of Moringa powder to be added without an accompanied unpleasant taste. The additional ingredients provide added benefit as well as…check our the benefits of regularly consuming ginger and cinnamon.
Caution – Start Slow
Again, we want to caution you that even though you’ll find it easy to be able to incorporate large amounts of Moringa powder with this recipe, give your body time to build up to consuming 8 grams of Moringa powder a day. Now add one more ingredient like curcumin in turmeric.and you will have one of the best nutritional anti-inflammatory drinks ever, Thank you, A Healthy Leaf.
good article,and useful.
I sure wish I knew the calorie count down on this recipe above
If adding Turmeric you will need to also add pepper, cayanne, black etc, which acts as a catalyst for our bodies to access the curcumin in turmeric.
This is because piperine acts as an excellent bio-enhancer. Put simply, it can improve the bioavailability of other substances in the body. The serving needed is quite small. You only need a pinch of pepper to enhance the absorption of turmeric.
Now add one more ingredient… turmeric and you will have one of the best nutritional anti-inflammatory drinks ever
How much turmeric?
So happy I found this recipe! I customize it a bit – basically increase all the ingredients by varying levels, add a bit of the watery kind of coconut milk to avoid using soooo much full fat coconut milk. This is a hit-the-spot green smoothie, smooth and tasty. Thank you, A Healthy Leaf.
